David Twersky

I founded College Link Consulting in 2013. I come to Educational Consulting from the pharmaceutical industry where I established a deep expertise in marketing research and business analytics.

My expertise in marketing research and analytics provide me with skills that complement the requirements of an Independent Educational Consultant. I have successfully managed, coached and developed numerous individuals over the years. I am able to frame key questions, identify information needs, develop an action plan and provide solutions.

As a detail oriented market researcher, I have over 20 years of corporate experience at Fortune 500 companies. Most recently I worked as Market Research Director at Merck. Prior to Merck, I held marketing research positions of increasing responsibility at such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Novartis. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology from UCLA, a Masters of Science in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University. Additionally, I received a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California, Irvine and I am an Associate member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association).

As a member of numerous selection teams, I have seen hundreds of resumes and cover letters, and have a very keen eye for what works and for what doesn’t. I will use my experience and expertise to help guide students in their application and admissions processes. As someone who has earned degrees from varying types of institutions, both big and small, public and private, I have firsthand knowledge of many facets of the higher education environment. My comprehensive educational, professional and personal experience is the basis from which I will add value for each of my clients. I have 3 children, 3 grandchildren, and live in New Jersey with my wife and beagle.

Manita Bhardwaj

I am an expert counselor with more that 12 years experience in fields of education, marketing and consulting. I have worked in many global organizations such as Tomas Cook (India), Daimler Chrysler Financial (USA) and more recently, in counseling students as the Director of Student & Career Services at Michigan State University in Dubai.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (Delhi University, India) and Masters Diploma from Delhi School of Economics (India) and an MBA from Michigan State University (USA).  This gives me  the unique ability to marry both corporate and education experience to bring the best insights from both worlds in my counseling sessions with students. Having worked and studies in USA and internationally, I am easily able to relate to students from diverse backgrounds. I have an innate passion to mentor and guide students, that reflects in my interaction with students living across the globe.

I live in New Jersey, USA with my husband and son. I currently volunteer at my son’s elementary school and at a magnate high school (guidance department). At both schools, I work with school administrators in elevating the academic and non-academic experience of students.
